Despite of American musical upbringing, guitarist and composer Dario Napoli is appreciated internationally in the world of gypsyjazz. With his “Dario Napoli Modern Manouche Project, Dario has released his 5th solo album, “Gypsy Nights” (https://www.bluenightrecords.com). Dario has participated in several festivals in Europe, United States and South America, including Django Reinhardt Festival in Samois sur Seine (Paris), Django Amsterdam, Djangofollies, Djangolegacy (Royal Liverpool Philarmonic), Django in June (USA), Djangofollies in Belgium, Djangofestivalen Oslo, Pennabilli Django Fest, Petralia Manouche Fest, Djangofest Tillburg, Piracicaba Jazz Festival, Festivalle, etc., sharing the stage with the most respected names of the genre, including Stochelo Rosenberg, Paulus Schafer, Wawau Adler, Tcha Limberger, Adrien Moignard, Sebastien Giniaux, Gonzalo Bergara, and Robin Nolan.
In collaboration with Maurizio Geri, Dario has published “La Chitarra Jazz Manouche”, the first educational about this style of music in Italy.
